Just got in from a little venture up the canal path. Aurora (red) visible to the eye. Got a load of images too.

Looks like it's heading back up again. Heading out for another wonder up the canal...

This was about 30 minutes ago from my house in the Netherlands. It peaked in activity for a moment and was easily visible with the naked eye. Single 6 second exposure with an iphone 14.

I've had to reduce the max exposure time on the allsky camera to 5 seconds. It was overexposed/washed out at the 20 sec default.

Seems to have died down since I last posted. But the west looks suspiciously green.

Been out looking at clouds for 45 mins and now come in to warm up and have a coffee.

My photos are showing some colour through the slightly thinner areas of cloud. None of the forecasts had it this cloudy, but hopefully there’s still time!

Yes, it's lost a lot of definition but the whole northern sky is glowing diffuse green.

I have an issue taking in the whole north as there's an LED lamppost right next to my wall east. But we'll see if it develops further.

I've put the ASC exposure up to 15 sec, 5 sec wasn't too good. Right now it's an auroral whiteout:
