Focus button in asiair with dslr camera

Hi everyone,

Can anyone  tell me if you can use the focus  button in the asiai, with a dslr camera please. I'm using a asiair mini with a Canon eos 60d camera. Being new to astrophotography, I'm  still learning about all of this astrophotography  stuff.

I'm no expert, but wouldn't you need the ZWO autofocusing unit on the scope to do that  ?

As a beginner, using a Bahtinov mask might be an easier option till you find your feet.

If the Canon is connected via usb cable to the air via it's AV out control, yes you can.
