Hello from Rome - Italy!

just registered on this wonderful SGL community.

I do astrophotography from my home balcony in Rome.

This is my setup:

- SkyWatcher EQM-35 Pro with (soon) EQSTARPRO Belt Upgrade Kit
- Tecnosky 72/432 Apo (clone of TS Optics 72/432) with ZWO EAF Focuser
- ASI 294MC Pro
- Optolong L-Pro / L-Enhance Filters
- ASI224MC for Guiding
- ASIAir Pro

Welcome to SGL from Ohio.  I visited Rome back in 1988, what a beautiful city

Hello and welcome to SGL it really is a great place for help and information. You will be challenged by a fair bit of light pollution in Rome but we also have some great imagers on the forum who image from London. You may be able to pick up and share some tips.

Welcome.  
There is another member on here from Rome.  Lorenzo Massimi perhaps you know him. 
 

He was based in ENGLAND for 3 years but is now back in Rome.  Also an imager.  We did some astro camping together while he was here for darker skies.  

He is also on Astrobin

Lorenzo sometimes goes off the dark locations, so definitely worth chatting to him.
