Looking good Neil. It seems that maybe the dust storm is settling, allowing a bit more detail in and around Hellas....?🤔

Was far from steady out there. But at least its now looking like the Mars we all know

Thanks Jeremy. Its getting bigger as can be seen. starting to get quite interesting around 13.5 arcsecs if i remember correctly

Cheers Stuart it's good to image Mars again. I missed last time around as I gave up. Only had the Orion left no mount cameras eyepieces, nothing. Was big last time as well

Lovely image. Hellas basin stands out like a sore thumb, don’t remember it being that colour last time. Maybe the recent storm deposited a load of fresh sand there.

Your eye is going to be a lot better than mine. I just missed that great opposition before I started again. Still trying to find my feet with Mars. Hope i am not making a mess of it ?

Lovely looking view there Neil, as other have said the Hellas Basin really does stand out at the moment
