Parallax
On the first night of getting my CCD, back in July 08, I was so excited by the results that I frantically imaged lots of things. Consequently, the exposure times were short and the quantity was small. So, now that I have learnt to slow down, I have revisted M51. Previously I had taken 120s subs, but last night increased this to 300s. Now, if I could just get some RGB to go with it...8 x 300s subs.Explorer 200 & Atik 16ic-s, ST80 & webcam, PHD, DSS, PSCS.Steve

RichieJarvis
Wow! very very nice n smooth. I see you've captured the 'wispy' bits near the other galaxy - I wonder whether they would come out more?? On every M51 I've done so far, I make the mistake of processing them out.....Great image Cheers,Richie
