Today's Solar action from the Ford Fiesta mobile imaging observatory

Clear blue skies, but tricky conditions today, poor seeing then high haze and wind.

White lights with the Evostar 120mm, Lunt wedge,  Asi174mm and H/A with Lunt 50mm

To be honest, I expected rural landscape and more rustic setup, but this really makes sense - lunch break + parking lot + break in the clouds = excellent image.

I guess it even provides shade for laptop inside.

Lovely images Pete. Can’t think of a better way to spend a work break ! I find the seeing really takes its toll on the HA shots as well.

You got all the reasons for it Vlaiv,  I do use it in rural areas as well. I get quite few odd looks and the occasional car pulling over to ask "what are you looking at?"
