I think problem is in understanding of terminology used.

Flats don't remove light pollution - they correct influence of optical train on light pollution (as any other light).

I never said flats should remove or fix light pollution in any other way then flat correction.

Yes, I love calibration frames, you can actually use the camera without needing a clear sky.
