QUOTATION of a FC100DL first 100 pz serie

hI, 

i need opinions on the current value of a FC100DL first serie and What are the European and international markets of specialized takahashi collectors?
I knew of a specialized Japanese market. do you have links?

Bought my FC-100DL in 2018 new for £2,600, but it’s a later version with the Tak blue focuser not black.
As far as second hand prices go I would pay approximately 60 - 65% of original price if it was in excellent condition, so maybe £1,700 🤔.  

Sorry can’t help with specialised Takahashi collectors, I tend to keep an eye on this forum and UK ABS.

Those percentages are only a generalisation as far as second hand astro gear goes so maybe £1,700 for my FC-100DL’s is on the cheap side 🤔 if I was selling must remember what you said and price it accordingly 😉

I bought a  FC100DF five years ago and I'm still smitten with it. I couldn't imagine selling it, not even for a bigger Tak. I cant explain it.

Likewise, mine’s not going anywhere. They do come up every now and then though, but don’t see why they shouldn’t obey ‘normal’ rules, though perhaps the DLs would command a premium given they were a limited run?

Unless you're in need of the money for another project, I personally wouldn't let the DL go for less than £2000. It's a jewel of a telescope!

I think premium refractors may go for slightly more than the 60% 'rule of thumb,' but it remains a minimum price, at least.

Being without a 4 inch refractor at the meoment I can vouch for the claim that everybody should have one!

It’s a nice scope @Fedele and hard to replace as not many were made.

Would suggest around €2250 (£1900) as long as it has all the original Takahashi accessories and is in mint condition.

Unfortunately no handle Dave 🤣🤣 and if it’s inline with recent second hand car price rises and inflation maybe £1900 or even £2000 isn’t unreasonable 😉
