With the moon being out of the way this year I've been looking forward to these for a while but the weather forecast isn't too good here at the mo. fingers crossed!

Great. The only thing to spoil it then is our great British weather, so fingers crossed (& other things too!) for some nice clear wearther! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

same here ,  going camping with the young one , so was looking forward to slightly darker skies ( bortle6) than my usual bortle 8. But alas , the weather might not be so kind.  Forecast is showing as partially cloudy, so fingers crossed, my be able to catch glimpses here and there.

The great British weather does test us... I'm supposed to be off to a place near Aberystwyth during the week for a few nights. Bortle 4, no moon, a good Perseid forecast and probably cloud... 🙄

Forecast looks decent (for once!), here in Hertfordshire, for Wednesday to Thursday night. Fingers crossed!

Seems to have been an unexpected outburst in Perseid activity on Aug 14. Daytime here, but radio observers in UK picked it up: https://britastro.org/node/26175
