Hi,

I'm Andy and I'm based in North Lincs. I while back I inherited an 8" Orion Europa from my late father and more recently I have had the time and opportunity to use it and being an keen photographer I would like to try some imaging with it.

Over the last month or so I have done quite a bit or research into scopes, imaging and astronomy in general and have thoroughly enjoyed what I've learnt and playing with the scope I've tried a few shots of the moon and last night I had my first go a stacking images taken with just camera on a tripod. One of the members (jgs001) on a photography forum I read kindly pointed to these forums, so here I am full of curiosity and questions
