Just a heads up that the viewing this morning is terrific, with a big spike prom particularly fine to the south east (hope that's the right way round), plus activity over the new sunpot that's rotating into view.

Yes nice prom's, only just got started here not much cloud or wind but crap seeing, guess you can't have everything 😁

Finally got a brief break in the clouds.  Plenty of action today, windy but good transparency, spicule detail very crisp at 150x.     🙂

yes seen them on gong first thing, nothing but misery here dark n rain most of the day.

Cracking views today. Only grabbed in between blanket of cloud, ten seconds at a time - still, was worth it. Some imposing proms, and lovely filaprom close to new AR. Old sunspot still showing well. Forgotten what it was like to have different areas of activity competing for attention.Tomorrow and Friday should be great if weather and seeing play ball. Reasonably promising forecast for the UK at least. But very warm on Friday, so if possible, early morning observing might give best results
