I hope you guys keep us updated about your ASA project.
I expect you to be at least as happy with it as I am

I'm sure I'll post another update on my e-Eye adventures when I go to set it up.

Since UK is still an EU member, normal VAT applies, which is already in the mount's price calculated , or at least it should, because you are a privat person without a VAT number. No import fees or whatever, just shipping costs.

It would be a nice outing though, going to Spain and get it yourself...

Or the ferryman...

The main problems that Rupert was concerned with was the timing of B-Day, and the customs arrangements that might ensue.

Like HMRC, I don't want to go there, as I like being a member here.

When my DDM60 was delivered it took both Rupert and me to get the box out of his car. The 85 looks like more than two people. somehow I doubt it will come in the back of Rupert's car.

Sorry, but who is Rupert, I have seen him mentioned earlier, but never heard that name before?
One of ASA's employee's ?

I only know Dietmar Weinzinger and Heidemarie Wögerer (Heidi) at ASA

Maybe you can enlighten me?
