Venus in UV

Its been a pretty barren last month, what with the weather and the festive duties. Captured at 09:00 low over the roof tops.

Not the best conditions, not helped imaging through a neighbour's boiler smoke, very little detail visible.

C9.25/Asi290mm & Baader UV filter.

Pete, your image has held my attention for some time now. Not to evaluate or suggest changes; literally just looking! There's very subtle detail there and I can tease out changes in brightness (banding maybe?) in the NW quadrant? All very subjective but hey I'm still looking at an actual planet so all good ?

I have had some concerns about my screen calibration, since seeing this image on my work PC. So after calibrating the screen best I could I have had another go.

I would very interested to hear what difference people see, if anything
