Typical. Cloudy here for the first time in a week.

Thanks Peter. Work and cloud, the two biggest problems for a solar observer who has yet to win the lottery ;)

Hopefully I’ll manage a look at some point before it disappears....

First cloudy day here for weeks!

The sky is as white and bright as low fat milk! :crybaby2:

Managed to see it here in East Yorkshire. Looks an interesting area of faculae forming around the spot, so should develop in to an interesting AR. I’ll have a chance to see it again tomorrow morning if clear before I have to zoom off for work around lunchtime to travel to another hotel.

Clear again today in DK but with cumulus.

I'm seeing an "inoculation scar" near the limb but it's really quite subtle.

A few darker pores and brighter streaks.

I'm trying different -UV/IR filters but they have little obvious effect other than light loss.

Hopefully the arrival of the helical focuser will help to get sharper focus.

I'm still using a 2" adapter as a push-pull focuser. ?
