Enough when buying a complete set that the difference equates to a better LP filter

oh i agree if you can afford it £310 Baader 7nm HA - 8.5nm OIII - 8nm S2 or £1950  Chroma 3nm but then i suppose you have to pay more for better equipment but are they really better i cannot judge as i have never had the Chroma but i do have the Baader 36mm unmounted and i have no problems with them.

but that said i am not starting an argument .

3nm filters are very definitely much better than 7nm.

I have a 2" Baader 3.5nm Ha which is affordable (currently £289 from FLO ). Unfortunately, have hardly used it yet

If you can only afford one, get the H-alpha. It's the most moon-proof, and will add zing to your LRGB images, as well as being a valid NB image of nebulae in its own right.
