Heads up: Supernova at mag 13.4 in NGC 2525

Just spotted this on the Latest Supernovae page. Has anyone spotted it yet? Should be at a maximum elevation of 26 degrees as seen from my house at 00:25. Should be doable, if only the clouds clear

The declination puts it slightly up and left from Sirius to give people an idea if they can see or image it.  Look forward to reading some reports.

Mag 14.6. Thats getting faint. Us visual chaps may have missed the boat on this one. The moon is coming into play.

I've posted in the past, but our observatory only deals with minor body astrometry and transient photometry. They don't usually look aesthetically pleasing...

We'll follow this one until it is too faint to continue observations. So about mag +20. In a similar fashion as 2017eaw.

Managed to spot it myself a few days back.

Mag 14.22 +/- 0.02, as observed from the Northolt Branch Observatory last night.
