The Veil by Moonlight

Took a chance on this one actually producing anything worthwhile, as the Moon was well up, and the sky bathed in moonlight.

Was quite pleased however, to see that it turned out better than expected.

Meade 80mm APO at f/6, and 20x300s subs with the SXVF-H9C. Captured, guided, and processed with AA4.

Guiding was with the SX Lodestar camera, and the 12" LX200R.

Do like that Dave , its a very good image indeed , process wise u have done a great job , clour is lovely , stars perfect. you must be well chuffed with that result .

Seems like the main target of choice as it was on the opposite side of the sky to the Moon and very well captured Dave.

Nice, that was with the new Meade? It's certainly got the colours nicely balanced. I'd be extremely interested to see a side by side comparison of your two ED80's Dave, the triploid and the doublet.
