Lots of cloud around today but I was lucky enough to catch a 45 minutes (ish) gap earlier, affording me some nice view of the Sun.

That suite of proms is still on show

I suspect at least some of this lot is being caused by AR 12662, which is poised to reappear in the next 24 hours or so. 12662 looked like it was fading away when I last saw it, so I am quite surprised by the big prominence preceding it's return. Will be interesting to see what comes around.

AR12665 in WL and Ca-K @2500mm FL

Seems there is a new active area developing just ahead of 12665, the below shows (roughly) the same area in WL and Ca-K

Just two small spots / pores at this stage. Clouds came in before I could get to H Alpha.
