Can I ask what kit did you use for these white light images?

Did you take single shot images or did you make a video sequence and stack them?

Mike - I used a Skywatcher 120mm EDAPO on an EQ6 (Although I also have a Skywatcher 120mm Achromat on an EQ5 which works just as well!) and a Canon 1100D body.  Baader solar film as filter in a homemade holder.  I generally take around 150-200 single frames with the DSLR (today was 120 as the clouds rolled in and I was in a bit of a hurry).  If you have a read here:

Nicely captured, the 2nd group of spots was a real surprise springing up from nowhere.
