HA from yesterday... and a quick "CaK"

"Throwing my hat in first" (lol) a bit on this one? :p
At ALL times I sense / "calculate" (even my camera)
was behind (carefully mounted) ND 5.0 or more! :)

But I did make a "best endeavour" efforts with the
Baader DS K-line Filter! Better, not-perfect sky? ;)

For comparison, here's a quick H-Alpha composite:

And now my DS CaK "Near UV Continuum" (lol) attempts:

And now the "Barlowed" image:

As often, I not QUITE sure what happens in the *blurry* regions
between SPOTS? I guess AS!2 fails to "lock on" properly? But! :p

P.S. "Lovely Proms"! (Doubtless) to be better presented here! ;)

The "wide-band" ( ;) ) Ca-K disk looks like the focus is better at the top that at the bottom. Not sure what causes this

Heheh. Me neither, Michael... There does seem to be a strange "focussing" issue?
Everything seems "pretty much square" with my nice ED66 scope. But I am using
a focal reducer which I then (I forgot!) *left in* behind the added Barlow lens... :p

It may be that simplifying the (rather dubious) OPTICS may help a bit though? :D
