Sol WL, HA, Prom 15-4-17

very quite today on sol, 50/50 cloud here thismorrning firstthing ,seeing okish but was clouded out at 09.15. WL is another blank one, HA ,ar2650 is just visable but not spots what I could see, theres 2 filaments towards the top of the disc and a nice long set of proms on the on coming limb midway.

kit- 120mm f5 frac, lunt wedge, 1200d for WL, ED80, Quark, asi120mc for HA.

thanks Dave, yer mate i couldnt see anything in WL, glad theres a little bit of action left in HA of ar2650. the weather here went down hill fast from 9.30am there is the odd blue bit about but im finnished for the day F1 starts in 10min. hope it clears for you.  charl.

Nice set Charl. Lots of cloud here with horrible seeing in between. As there is nothing doing in WL I'll see if I can get anything usable form the Ca-K filter today. Fingers crossed.

thanks Stu, im very pleased with my Quark, i like how theres allways something going on in Ha, wish id started imaging years ago. going to start using the quark with my bigger fracs soon, just getting the hang of it with ed80 first. clear skys charl.
