just grabbed a qwick look through a thin bit of cloud and theres new action moved on to the disc overnight, their looks to be two or more decent size spots, I only got a few seconds to see it and that was through a vail of cloud, hope somebody gets eyes on to conferm. clear skys ,charl.

Thanks Charl. A brief bit of blue sky here at the moment and after the recent inactivity I wouldn't have bothered looking if you hadn't posted. Couple of spots and bright snaking faculae, although the seeing was poor. Hopefully we'll get a good view of these as they swing round. The forecast for the week looks rubbish though!

its from https://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/ with a little bit of tweaking and cropping from me, soho whitelight for me are the best pro shots on the net, the only one I use.  but all the very best shots are the ones we take by ourselfs because ive seen better shots taken by guys on here some days when the seeing spot on, but sohos great to fallback on on days like today. charl.
