seeings much better today but alas nothing to see with the camera, in the vis with the big frac theres a few small pores on the moving off side mixed in with the white snakey stuff.

kit- ed80, 1.5x barlow, lunt wedge, 1200d in mono and 1:1 crop mode. 74 frames staxed with regi.

 Nice work Charl. Well done. Pretty much the same as yesterday then. Could see some granulation with my Lunt yesterday, but that was about all. Hopefully some better action to come soon.

thanks Gus, I find that a ND moon filter screwed into the ep helps with granulation, helps with the brightness too when doing vis also a green filters are good aswell. clear skys ,charl.

Got a polarising filter, and a Baader solar contuuum filter, along with the filter that comes with the Lunt too. The solar continuum filter gives the sun a green tinge too, but not tried just a green planetary filter with either the Lunt one or the polarising filter, so will see if that makes any difference next time I use it.

I find the continuim filter a bit better than my green dichloric but it has to be said its very very green. It takes getting used to.
