Simeis 147 - The Spaghetti Nebula - WIP

First part of this project - collected light subs in Ha.  Later I want to capture RGB data and produce a colour version.

Equipment - 135mm f2.5 Asahi Super Takumar lens (ex SLR film camera), Astrodon 3nm Ha filter in ZWO EFW mini attached to ASI1600MM-Cool camera, mounted on EQ8 , unguided.

This is 232 120s subs with a gain of 600 (the maximum) and sensor temperature of -30C.  Calibrated with matching bias, dark and flat frames in the PixInsight BPP script, applied DBE to tidy up the background.  Then saved as TIFF and transferred to Photoshop for post processing where I applied levels and Noel's Action - "Enhance DSO and Reduce Stars".  Just a relatively quick post process.  Saved in PNG format for upload.

Thank you everyone :)  Yes, this nebula is very faint though large, being 3 degrees across - that's six times the diameter of the moon (as viewed from earth).
