Well I finally decided to get on the DSO bandwagon and have a bash myself.

This is my very first DSO so don’t laugh. you can if you want too i don't mind

GSO 8 inch F/4 newt, QHY6, Astronomic HA filter.

10x45 second subs, set everything up then tripped over the wires and had to start again what a palaver.

To be honest it’s a right pain to set everything up, tripping over the wires and kicking the mount was the last straw, so It’s going into a 12x8 shed ASAP.

I've had my QHY6 for a couple of months and still not had a decent sky to try it out on. Looks a good CCD camera judging by your image.

Well at long last ,i have turned u to the Dark side Trev,Planets ,whots that!!lol . i can only say for a first image Trev , thats a darn goodun mate , far far better than my first one for sure , but then u cheated ,lol you have had first class help to get you going :D , Trip!! whoo b**** wires hehehhe , it has to be an Obs now for sure ,
