Smash and grab white light this morning, only for it to clear again shortly after! AS!2 refused to touch this data today so stacked in R5.

Glad it's not just me that gives AS!2 the hump at times ... 

Just watched today's blue bit waft harmlessly by to the South , raining here now ...

I tried all sorts with AS!2, just would not give me a usable disk. Reg came up trumps on the first try

RainToday shows rain skirting to the north of me at the moment, I suspect it is only a matter of time before we get wet. I have the PST out in the hope of a 5 minute gap so I can grab an H Alpha disk but I am probably being a little optimistic!

Have you been getting strange 'blocky' images from AS!2 when clouds are included ... ? 

I used to but found that ticking the 'Greyscale' box at the top under 'Colours' cured it , it was a weird semi-coloured array that kept being thrown out.

I think cloud in the subs was probably the cause, I got mis-alignment and a kind of RGB matrix overlay?? not seen that before.

great shots Dave, i dont like AS2 at all mate,i much like using regi, its not very often it fails but it do have a prob if theres too much cloud sometimes. thanks  charl.

Yep that sounds like it , is AS!2 set to Autodetect in the Colour Tab ?

Yes it was. Neither switching to Greyscale or ticking "RGB align" make any difference. Although switching to greyscale does do away with the RGB grid pattern.

AS!2 certainly is bizarre at times. I've had it fail to align 2 frames and RS has done the whole stack. No sense to it.
