Smartphone Adapters

Hello Folks,

I'm thinking about buying a smartphone adapter for my Celestron Astromaster 130eq with the motor drive to try and take some astrophotography pictures.  Of course I'm not trying to get superb DSLR quality, rather just decent pictures.

Does anyone have any tips or advice on which one to get and will they work on the smaller openings on 6mm and smaller eyepieces?

I found this one on Amazon and was drawn to it because of the wireless remote.

As always any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I bought this a while ago

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AYDKFMK

Looks like a very similar product.

I've managed to take some decent(to my very biased eye) pictures of the Moon. I have also taken pictures of Saturn and Jupiter. I don't have any motor drive so I haven't even attempted taking longer exposures though.

For what its worth it fits very securely around the eyepiece and the remote works as promised.

Hope that helps!

That picture looks great.  When I pull the trigger on one I'll definitely consider this one.  Thank you very much for posting.
