Need help identifying a connector

Hi all,

I need help identifiying a connector, there are no markings and I am not sure how to measure or identify the type of it.

It's the connector for AC Power Adapter kit ACK-E5 DR-E5 Adapter plus DC Coupler for Canon EOS Rebel XSi XS T1i 450D 500D 1000D Kiss F X2 X3 DSLR Cameras

Basically it is the cable that connects to the "empty" battery. I only need the cable and connector... if someone knows anything thing about this please let me know.

That style of power connector plug often seems to be sold based on the internal (and sometimes external) diameter, or if you prefer, the diameter of the pin in the socket and the external diameter of the plug.  2.1mm seems quite common for the pin, but the one on the supply for my 450D looks considerably smaller than that.

It has to be right angled to fit the into the camera, it more an issue of getting the right size... very tiny and hard to measure properly ;) exact spec would be nice

I would just buy this and cut the cable off

Pfff that's the easy way ! I do have the power supply with attached adapter but I would like to keep it whole to offer when I resell my DSLR. Paying 14£ for a connector seems to be a big waste of money ;) but I may have to go down that road if I have no choice.

Ok, not fun but I was so annoyed with this that I just did what you suggested. I cut the cord off the one I already owned, I will solder the cable to an XLR connector to use on my power distribution box.

I do have the empty battery case, I just needed the cord itself with the plug.

As a DIYer I feel ashamed that I went the easy way... but I figured that I would no longer use a wall outlet anyway now that I run everything from the distribution box ... Ho well.

Thank you all for your thoughts and contribution on this.
