The Solar Photosphere - 2nd May 2016

Unexpected clear bit this afternoon. Even more unexpected that I was in the right place at the right time to grab some data. Didn't last long so had to be quick but I did manage to grab 10 frames for a flat as well Having been away most of the weekend I still haven't had chance to make up a filter from the ND3.8 film that I picked up last week, so this one was shot with the ND5.
