April 24, 2016: Something must be lurking in the NE

Just did a reprocess of some stacks on the north-eastern part of the sun in H-alpha, stacking more frames (200 instead of 100 out of 1000) to bring out more prom detail. There is definitely something on the limb. Looks like the kind of swirl of filaments you see around some sunspots.

Dodging snow showers here but there may be some clear periods. I'm still on white light but I'm told the replacement Lunt could be on the way soon.

Sweet processing Michael, I may well pick your brain at some point of capturing if that's ok mate.

I tend to look at these images to see what's coming as the magnetic action clearly shows summit's up !
