Jupiter 6th April from Dorking

After attending a stimulating talk by Norman Walker at my local Astronomy Society, and seeing the International Space Station pass overhead, the sky was clear when I got home at 10.30 so I decided to image Jupiter. The result is similar to one I got a few days ago in as much as the Great Red Spot was just about in the same position for this picture taken around 11.42 pm (below). Seeing was steady but with a chilly wind.
Details:
Scope - Celestron C14 SCT with 2x Televue Powermate and ADC on EQ8 mount
Camera - ZWO ASI224MC
Capture - Firecapture 2.53
Processing - Autostakkert, Registax 6, WinJupos de-rotation (7 minutes. CM1 218.3; CM2 229.1; CM3 250.9: North at top); further tweaking in PS cs3 and Topaz De-noise

Clear skies,

John
