Crater Drygalski

SPX350 F35.6, PGRFlea3, Baader IR 685nm filter.

My FL was a little too long at 12,500 mm with some high mist but I managed to get this crater at the edge of the Moon which is usually not visible.  Its favourable libration meant I could not resist a quick go.  It clouded over before I could get the nearby Hausen crater.  Edge of the Moon craters always give amazing perspective effect.

Nice capture. This is a difficult one to observe let alone image. You sometimes wish libration could be a little more friendy
