The Sun in White Light 29th Feb 2016

Pretty awful conditions here today with high cloud / haze all morning which then thickened into something much less transparent later. Decided to have a go anyway and result is not that bad really. The colour image has a distinct halo caused by the "fogged" subs. Stacked 67 from 139. Seems my remote trigger for the DSLR is on the blink so off to order a new one now.

Up to your usual high standards Dave. Been a dull grey day here and I am now sitting listening to the rain batter of the windows. I knew I should not have bought that new eyepiece which arrived today.
