New 130pds

Well i have bit the bullet and ordered a new explorer 130pds from FLO cant wait. hopefully take my astrophotography a bit further now.

Yup - great choice - you'll get so good with AP you'll want to upgrade your mount to HEQ5 soon - so get saving lol

Dont forget your coma corrector too!  And as mentioned above, you will need to put a good mount under it in order to get the best out of it.

Yes very much time too start saving for the Heq5 i think, hopefully get some decent pictures. i have done not too bad with the evostar but this will take it up a notch and then further when i do get the Heq5. Clear skies to all. Scott

It's a great scope for astro-photography....not too bulky or heavy.

I second the recommendation of the coma corrector....makes a big difference to the subs.

Yes i will get a coma corrector as well, pretty much a must.
