First LRGB Saturn.

First LRGB Saturn……well the seeing was very poor and that’s the polite way of putting it.

No definition in the red green or blue channel so I cheated and used a lum channel from a previous Avi, well had to get something.

F/20 DMK C11

3 Large Whisky’s and lots of swearing.

Conditions last night were very poor but I saw stars so I had a go! Your first LRGB Saturn has worked out fine - the colours are pastel but then Saturn can be overdone IMHO (but then, as you know, what do I know!).Well done, mate.

Seeing was poor later on but strangely while still light 8.30pm seeing was pretty good and I managed a couple of AVI's of saturn, not processed yet so I cannot post.

Had another go, managed a better set of RGB last night but still very poor conditions. Lum data from 2^nd May combined with RGB data from 7^th May. C11 F/20 DMK.
