Neptune

Neptune capture just to try. I have to get used even with these difficult planets. Still I can not complain since it used the G filter which makes it more difficult to circumvent the seeing he was not much good. Nothing in terms of Almir Germano with your Spot A, but starting to warm up the engine for future catches in Long Pass.

You've certainly captured the essence of Neptune. The colour looks just about right - though, to my eyes, Neptune is a tiny bit deeper into the blue-spectra and less to the green. But that's to my eyes. Humans developed the sense of colour quite recently in the grand scheme of the g-nome we rode in on. So nobody sees the colour of objects exactly the same as another person. Very good image!

Do you think your c14 would reveal surface detail if you used a IR filter?

I believe it is possible to get a night of good seeing that could use a larger increase. This photo was an experience because I am using the ASI 224 only for the 2nd time.
