These are the first images of any sort taken from my recently finished observatory.  Not ideal conditions - I was setting up all the electrics and was checking that everything is working as it should.  As such, these ended up being taken at around 13:30 hours as bits and pieces of clouds scudded across the sky.  It is my ZWO 120 (with 0.5 reducer) attached to a Quark through my ED80.  

The Newton's rings that I get are horrific.  I had some success with flats this time (I think), but I wonder if I need to find a better solution.

This is my first go at producing one of these "inverted" images.....

Thank you.  Actually I got some nice visual work in last night after I managed to get the mount polar aligned.  I used AlignMaster which seems quite a handy program to use.

These images seem a bit more in focus - probably a transient period of better seeing.
