Bought this on Sunday and it arrived today, I have to say in immaculate nick and well wrapped. Thanks David if you're out there !

What a little beaut !! So compact and so well engineered for a small scope, can't wait to take it out. Thought I'd share it with you, ( like you've never seen one before  ) . Anyway it's gonna let me see stuff when away, everyone else has their buckets and spades and beach balls etc, so I now have this and a couple of kites, I'm happy. :p

Anyone know if you can hook up a DSLR using something other than 1 1/4 adapter with this baby ?? ie a way of using a 2" adapter :(

Best thing to buy is a Williams optics Focal Reducer and a T-ring for your specific DSLR. This screws onto the SCT thread on the back of the scope then screws on to a T-ring which then has a bayonet fitting that matches your DSLR.

Alternatively you could get a T-ring for your DSLR and T-ring Adapter 2" nose piece and a SCT thread to 2" accessory adapter

If you speak to Steve im sure he can help you.

Cheers guys, yup I'm chuffed with it.

Thats nice like your speakers as well.

Mick.

Oooh those li'l babies really do pump out  Bought 2nd hand and had the new cones fitted by a great guy in Wembley(I think) All for £60-£70. The stands were made by a mate, "Torchy"

Cheers Kevin ,that's what I needed to know the 2nd item is all I'll need, got the rest. Still, I'll give Steve a quick bell. The "El Cheapo" camera tripod is actually far better than I gave it credit at first, sits very well and steady.

Looks like rain then................................
