Definitely the last Saturn 2015.07.09

Definitely the last Saturn of the season.... maybe  Been tough all year and pretty tough to get much this time, considering barely dark and such a short window between two rows of conifers. Not really time or conditions for RGB's so just a mono image this time.

Taken with C9.25/ASI120mm + IR742 pro planet filter. 4,000 frames stacked in Reg6 and lightly processed in Photoshop. Quite pleased considering the challenges.

Very good. What do U think is the

max amount of frames, U should take.

I have been taking, 20 to 25 k worth

of frames on Saturn . Using about 15%.

Steve.

I think time is probably the best way to look at it rather than frames, i believe 6 minutes is around the optimum amount. I guess if you are using WINJUPOS as well to derotate you may well get longer, i have never myself quite got to grips with it yet.
