Back to imaging this morning. Lovely blue skies at 06:00 so I had time to both sketch and image. Quite a few of the smaller spots / groups seen yesterday have evaporated over night, including what looked like a new spot / group rounding the limb.

Lovely pictures, Dave.

The orientation sketch at the top is a nice touch - is that how it appears when observed through a refractor? I've never been able to work out the direction of travel or where the equator is

Thanks all.

@DRT it is tricky and I still get confused when I switch between sketching and imaging sometimes. I use a program called tilting sun which also provides me with the orientation pic in the corner of my final image.
