Guess this amazing image.

That's an interesting design of scope - though I kind of like having the mirror hidden away where it's somewhat protected - awesome detail on the image though.

The scope'd need one heck of a light shroud to work in the average UK amateurs garden - or an observatory. Looks pretty neat though.

I'd know Boussingault with one eye tied behind my back, though...

it's the 'double-looking' crater on the lower left.

The shadowed crater with the smooth floor at lower right is Manzinus,

and the other large craters near the center are Boguslawsky (lower)

and Demonax (upper).

Btw, you were pretty close with your guess...

Schomberger's a bit to the right, just out of the image.

I knew you'd know what crater it was Carol, i bet it took you all of 10 seconds to identify it , i spent 30 mins with VMA and still didn't get it right.

It is remarkable how SHARP the edges and (plane) parallel the terraces of that double (concentric) crater seem to be.

There seems to be almost no "outer wall" on the inner crater. Makes you wonder at the "dynamics" of it all...

It's a cracking image for sure, I'd love to take a peek through one of these scopes.

In fact, given the performance, I wonder what it would do for some of the moons orbiting saturn/jupiter?
