My current scopes

Here a a few daylight shots of my current setup.

1) Meade AR5 Achromatic refractor on Losmany GM8 Mount

This is an AR5 with a Moonlight dual speed crayford focusser upgrade. It has a Vixen 60mm guidescope being used as a RACI finder, together with a Baader Sky Surfer V red dot finder. The Mount is a Losmandy GM8. This has been modified to have a G11 saddle so it can take the DUP dovetail plate. It also has the 12" Extension column and a custom made counterweight.

A very nice looking set up. The focuser upgrade looks very good was it a direct fit on the AR5 tube or did you have to modify the tube?

Moonlight make the focusser specially for the AR5 so it was a direct fit. (They do one for the AR6 as well).
