Two in a week

First signs that the Sun is a little higher, these were taken before 12   38 frames from 138 with fair-to-middling seeing.

Where can you see this strange globe in the sky???

Nice catch, I hope the faculae on the eastern side herald some more ARs, the disc looks pretty bare at the moment

Hesitate to say it - 'cos people might want to visit too often :-) - but we've had some very clear days recently just in my little corner of Scotland. Getting away with murder it seems, compared to other areas (knocks on wood).

Anyhow, managed a peek in Ha most days although usually fighting with seeing through branches, when in my back garden, the sun is so low. Today from my front garden, where I have a less obstructed view, I saw a lot of activity on the limb, a couple of large proms and many other, more modest, ones. I can't spend as long as I'd like to at the front for fear of attracting unwanted attention from passers-by but Ive been happy with what I've managed to pick up.

I have been watching the shadows in the car park at work to see when its going to be a viable option again. It is definitly getting better!
