Comet Lovejoy (C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy)

I have been looking forward to the latest comet Lovejoy since I heard about it and I have so far had a couple of chances to image it.  The first was on 28December when I used my SW150P from a dark(ish) site and last night I tried a couple of wide field attempts with my Canon 1100D on a tripod from my town garden.  I processed the shots with DSS and PS.

I really hope the weather is kind and we get some more great opportunities once this visitor gets higher up in the southern skies and the moon moves out of the way.

Very nice it's a tricky little blighter in all that moonlight.
