Hi John, Welcome to the Lounge :)

It looks like the Shropshire contingent, are taking over again. ;)

I've been trying to get to an S.A.S Meeting for months now, either work, or Manflu has stopped me so far. I'll get there eventually. :)

I have been to a few SAS meetings myself, they are a lovely bunch of people. They really have a heart for outreach; it's a real pleasure seeing them interact with members of the public, getting them enthused for this fantastic hobby.   :)

Alas, I live too far away from them now...

BTW, welcome to the forum John, from an recent ex-Salopian. :)

There are some fabulous places to observe in the county - and it really starts to get real DARK out towards Clun way....  :)

Some areas of mid-South Shropshire boast of a NELM of 6.2 at Zenith during early April - that average reading was taken by myself several miles north of Ludlow...
