Two really nice images and great comparison. I am guessing that your Ha was taken at a higher F number leading to a longer exposure and hence the grain/noise appears to be greater?

Certainly that is the case for me.

Thanks for the comments. Maybe it was just seeing or even the limitations of the mod when they are compared direct. I suppose I am pushing the PST on the ed100 objective. It improves on the original but doesn't give the crisp views I get in white light.

Excellent images!!!

usually the seeing is worst in Calcium K, then better in WL, then better still in H alpha. On Saturday it seemed the reverse for me when the Calcium K was much better seeing than the H alpha, may be this weekend we had a very strange airflow?
