Thanks for the nice comments and the likes.

The Sigma 105 seems to be reasonably good at f4 only the most outer stars showing abberations.

I like the semi wideness, when and if the cloud buzzes off want to do some more work with this setup.

It's not restricted to macro work, it eats normal photography as well.

For the price it's a super lens and of course the macro lenses tend to have a flat field.

It's a tad heavy but on a tripod or mount no worries.

By the way, there are a couple of nice images of IC5068 in the deep sky forum, they complement the wider view above. It tends to get overlooked a little as it's so close to the NA and Pelican.

Better to me the 2nd as looks to have more contrast and a punchy middle.

Been trying Pixinsight, hoping to improve my processing.

Processing seems harder than getting the data, still a huge amount to learn.
