Hi Jules , 

As it's just a neutral density filter it will just darken things rather than enhance them , have a play with a UHC or OIII if you have one in your box of tricks , both are set in the green part of the spectrum and though not as narrow as a Continuum filter they do enhance contrast and help 'pop' the granulation , my preference is the OIII.
