Hi all,

Finally one clear night!
This time I went to my dark sky spot with a target in mind, the Propeller nebula in Cygnus, the night was ok in terms of tranparency but with ocasional bursts of wind, this caused big problems with autoguiding, in fact it was all over the place...:( Nevertheless, I managed to get 9x15 min. @ 1600 ISO with the mono and cooled 450D, 8" f/4 newtonian with Baader MPCC and EQ6:

Then to close the night I aimed at the Eagle that was about to cross the meridian, and shoot only 5x5 min. @ 1600 ISO before going K.O....felling tired but satisfied, I packet it all and went home, great night smile.gif

Hope you enjoy,

These are inspirational, I may just send you my my 1100d to have it turned  to mono. .

Many thanks :)

The 1100D is a royal pain to debayer, the bayer matrix is so stuck on the sensor surface that is nearlly impossible to remove without damaging the sensor...but flats and dither can make wonders ;)

Cheers,
