Best Mars yet with mak127

Hi to all from a very wet Isle of Wight

First set are from opposition on the 8th (processed eventually!)

2nd set are from the 16th/17th & without doubt the best yet with the little mak.

All upside down with polar cap at the bottom, sorry lazy muppet that I am!!

2nd images are 1.5 drizzle

 

On another note I understand that Saturn is going to be getting lower & lower to the horizon over the coming years & hence not great for imaging, does anybody know what the prospects are for Mars?

Very nice results Yelsac - we had a good run of stable clear weather last week, but the luck seems to have run out over the holiday. Fingers crossed for Mars and Saturn later this week!
